Shadowfax IT

The brief

Shadowfax required a brand and web refresh for their established and well respected IT company. The brand needed to be different from the companyʼs competitors, and the best way to achieve this was through a new approach to the visuals. This would enable Shadowfax to stand out from the crowd and to avoid the dull IT imagery you would normally associate with their industry.

Abstract concepts

To set the company apart from their competitors, Jasmine sourced a series of abstract photographs to represent their core services; for example, ‘Essential Infrastructureʼ is demonstrated by a beautifully abstract image of the internal structure of a shell. The images Jasmine sourced are based on nature as a juxtaposition to the highly technical nature of the subject matter, and is a theme reinforced by the brand colour palette. Jasmine also developed functional icons to accompany the unexpected visuals, which helps the user to gain better understanding of Shadowfaxʼs services.

Beautiful meets practical

The website carries the brand ethos into the digital arena. Acting as an online brochure to convey the overall service message, the website contains succinct, easily-digestible information alongside stunning imagery. Jasmineʼs favourite practical aspect of the website design is the convenient service menu, which is easily accessible at all times, and concisely describes the companyʼs services. This not only allows the user to obtain information quickly and easily, but it also makes a deeper level of information available, should they require it.
