The brief
Pellys Solicitors is a multidiscipline law firm, who were ready for a refresh after nearly 50 years of growth. The brand needed to be warm and approachable, and the website needed to clearly and concisely present Pellyʼs wide range of services.

An approachable brand
The established company is built on trust, integrity and support, so Jasmine decided to soften the feel of the brand by developing a more approachable feel. She did this through carefully choosing a warm, rich colour palette and introducing relatable lifestyle imagery into the designs. The refreshed brand mark is simple and clean, it uses a soft and friendly sans serif typeface that feels modern, yet approachable.

A nurturing experience
When designing the website, Jasmine based the structure around three pillars of the business: ‘Legal Advice For Todayʼ, ‘Legal Advice For Youʼ and ‘Legal Advice For Your Businessʼ, each of which were allocated their own colour way selected from the brand colour palette. The thinking behind the website was based wholly around the user and their need for a straightforward experience. Jasmine identified that the users would typically be engaging in the website at a testing time in their lives, so she wanted to make the experience as simple and easy to navigate as possible. Not only saving the user time and confusion, but continuing the warm feel to the brand as a whole.
